This is a John Roderick solo set opening for Nada Surf, who performed "The Weight is a Gift" and a bunch of other songs in a special performance. He performs Long Winters songs throughout, so it seems accurate to call it a "Long Winters" recording. Nada Surf joins John as his backing band on "The Commander Thinks Aloud." Gain on soundboard feed increases noticeably after first song. Otherwise pretty darn pristine!
